Mr. B is in a golf tournament tomorrow and it just so happens to be held in a town that has casinos. Needless to say, my husband will be very happy since he will be able to do two of his favorite things in one day, which is play golf all day and then play poker all night. Now I am not a big fan of gambling, per se, since I know you lose more than you win and I personally rather spend my money elsewhere, but I must confess I am looking forward to going out of town with him tomorrow for a couple of reasons.
Mr. B and I will be traveling by ourselves since we have already shipped Miss B to my parent's home. I don't think I need to elaborate on that one. The second reason I am looking forward to going is more of a surprise to me. Thanks to recent couples poker night down my street, I have learned how to play a little Texas Hold'Em Poker and, to be honest, it is fun. This weekend will be the first time I play at the big tables, but I am hoping to beat the odds and come home a winner or at least break even. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
